Spark Plug Thread Repair Set M12 × 1.25 mm, 5 pcs.

This five-piece repair set is designed for restoring damaged M12 × 1.25 mm spark plug threads.

The special HSS tool included in the set reams out the damaged original thread while simultaneously cutting a new receiving thread for the repair insert. Four different insert lengths allow the suitable version to be selected according to the original spark plug thread depth.

Instructions for Use

1. Coat the thread-cutting tool with grease.
2. Insert the tool into the damaged spark plug thread.
3. Ream out the original thread while simultaneously cutting the new receiving thread for the repair insert.
4. Ensure that no swarf enters the combustion chamber.
5. Screw the selected repair insert onto the spark plug.
6. If required, apply a suitable liquid thread-locking compound to the insert.
7. Use the spark plug to screw the repair insert into the newly cut receiving thread.
