This professional pneumatic brake bleeder set is designed for bleeding and refilling brake and clutch systems on vehicles with or without ABS.

The system enables efficient one-person operation, allowing brake fluid to be replaced or the hydraulic system to be bled without the assistance of an additional technician.

Mobile Use with Pre-Charged Air Pressure

The unit can be pre-charged using compressed air and subsequently operated independently, making it ideal for applications where a permanent compressed air connection is unavailable.

This feature provides excellent flexibility for workshop and mobile service applications.

Moisture-Free Brake Fluid Supply

The brake fluid is separated from the compressed air by a durable rubber diaphragm.

This prevents moisture from the compressed air system from entering the brake fluid, protecting the hydraulic system against contamination and ensuring safe and reliable brake servicing.

15 Adapters for Wide Vehicle Coverage

The set includes 15 brake bleeding adapters covering a wide range of brake fluid reservoirs used in:

  • European vehicles
  • Japanese vehicles
  • American vehicles

This extensive adapter selection makes the set suitable for professional workshops servicing multiple vehicle brands.

Compatible with Multiple Brake Fluids

The brake bleeder is suitable for use with:

  • DOT 3 brake fluid
  • DOT 4 brake fluid
  • DOT 5 brake fluid
  • DOT 5.1 brake fluid

Applications

Suitable for:

  • Hydraulic brake systems
  • Hydraulic clutch systems
  • Vehicles with ABS
  • Vehicles without ABS

Compatible with a wide range of European, Japanese, and American passenger vehicles.

Filling the Unit

  • Ensure that there is no air pressure inside the brake bleeder. Release any residual compressed air by opening the pressure relief valve.
  • Remove the filler cap located on the top of the unit.
  • Fill the unit with brake fluid and close the filler opening with the filler cap.

Note: If a rubber diaphragm is located directly below the filler cap, filling must be carried out slowly. Be careful when pressing the diaphragm down. Using a sharp or pointed object may damage the diaphragm and render the unit unusable.

Note: Do not fill the unit above the upper edge of the filler neck.

Bleeding the Unit

After each refill with brake fluid, the unit must be bled as follows:

  • Close the pressure relief valve.
  • Close the brake fluid shut-off valve.
  • Close the compressed air inlet valve.
  • Ensure that the filler cap is securely tightened.
  • Connect the brake bleeder to the compressed air system.
  • Open the compressed air inlet valve and adjust the pressure to 1.2 bar using the pressure regulator.

If the safety valve opens, the pressure must be reduced.

  • Connect the adapter to the quick coupling.
  • Hold the adapter over a suitable container and briefly open the brake fluid shut-off valve until brake fluid flows from the adapter free of air bubbles.
  • Close the brake fluid shut-off valve.

The unit is now ready for use.

Operation

  • Ensure that the pressure relief valve, the brake fluid shut-off valve and the compressed air inlet valve are closed.
  • Connect the brake bleeder to the compressed air system, open the compressed air inlet valve and adjust the pressure to 1.2 bar using the pressure regulator.

The set pressure can be read on the pressure gauge. If the safety valve opens, the pressure must be reduced.

  • Close the compressed air inlet valve and disconnect the brake bleeder from the compressed air system.

If necessary, the unit can be reconnected to the compressed air system at any time and the compressed air inlet valve can be opened again to recharge the unit with compressed air.

  • Select the appropriate adapter and screw it onto the vehicle's brake fluid reservoir.
  • Connect the adapter to the quick coupling on the brake fluid filling hose.
  • Open the brake fluid shut-off valve.
  • Bleed the brake system according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
  • After completing the bleeding procedure, close the compressed air inlet valve and the brake fluid shut-off valve.
  • Disconnect the adapter from the quick coupling and remove it from the vehicle.
  • Check the brake fluid level and correct it if necessary. Then close the brake fluid reservoir securely.
