5-in-1 Heat Shield Retaining Washer and Clip Tool for VAG, Ford and More

This double-ended tool is designed for removing and installing retaining washers and spring-steel clips used on underbody heat shields around the exhaust system.

The shaped profiles engage securely with the corresponding contact points on the retaining washer. This allows the washer to be unscrewed from the threaded stud in a controlled manner without deforming or tearing the clip.

Correct use also helps preserve the thread profile of the mounting stud attached to the vehicle, allowing reusable heat shield clips to be removed and installed safely.

Tool Operation

The tool can be operated using a cordless drill/driver or a ratchet with a suitable bit holder.

The included 1/4″ hex adapter provides quick connection to common workshop drive tools.
