Alignment Gauge for Ford Volvo MPS6 / 6DCT450 Transmission, as Ford 308-757 / Volvo 9997368

Specialized alignment gauge designed for positioning and aligning the retaining claws of the clutch pack on Ford and Volvo vehicles equipped with 6-speed MPS6 / 6DCT450 dual clutch automatic transmissions.

The tool is inserted into the retaining claw and rotated counterclockwise until the lever can be positioned into the designated recess in the transmission bell housing at approximately the 11 o’clock position.

Only after correct alignment may the eight mounting bolts be installed. The bolts must be tightened progressively, one turn per sequence, followed by the final tightening torque of 48 Nm.

Before transmission installation, the retaining claws must be lightly coated with the appropriate lubricant.
