Professional special holding tool designed for repair work on differentials and transfer cases on BMW and Land Rover vehicles.

The flange nut must be securely held using this special tool while the input shaft is rotated using the corresponding spline profile socket tool. Before disassembly, the position of the flange nut relative to the drive pinion should always be marked.

Unlike the original BMW tool, this version features an integrated 1/2" square drive, allowing the use of breaker bars and torque wrenches for controlled and professional operation.

Important Information

The 12-point flange nut must not be used for counterholding during driveshaft removal.

During driveshaft removal, the insert nut must always be loosened clockwise, opposite to the driving direction.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in severe rear differential damage.
