Camshaft Locking Tool for Audi VAG as T40264

Exhaust camshaft locking tool,
to be used like OEM T40264/1

Turn the crankshaft to TDC.
Remove the sealing plugs in the camshaft carrier.
The threads in the camshafts must be visible through the holes in the camshaft carrier.
Install the camshaft locking tool and tighten the bolts to 12 Nm.

Intake camshaft locking tool,
to be used like OEM T40264/2

Remove the sealing plugs in the camshaft carrier.
The threads in the camshafts must be visible through the holes in the camshaft carrier.
Install the camshaft locking tool and tighten the bolts to 12 Nm.

Crankshaft locking tool,
to be used like OEM T40264/3

Insert the crankshaft locking tool into the designated position.
