Overview:

The adapter allows an engine cylinder to be pressurised with compressed air through the spark plug opening.
The air pressure holds the valves in their closed position, allowing the valve springs to be removed without dismantling the cylinder head.
Acoustic Leak Testing
The adapter can also be used for acoustic diagnosis of cylinder leakage.
Escaping air can help identify possible leakage at:
- Intake or exhaust valves
- Piston rings
- Cylinder head gasket
- Other sealing points in the combustion chamber

- M14 x 1.25
- M18 x 1.5
