This special tool is designed for counter-holding the crankshaft and vibration damper during service operations on VAG TFSI engines. It ensures safe and controlled work when loosening or tightening high-torque fasteners.
Important Note
To prevent damage, the crankshaft should not be loosened or tightened using an impact wrench.
Ensure that the friction washer (diamond washer) is correctly installed between the vibration damper and the crankshaft flange. Failure to install this washer may result in severe engine damage.
