This universal valve spring compressor is used to compress valve springs when replacing valve stem seals, valve springs or valves.

The mounting base is screwed into existing threaded holes in the cylinder head, such as the mounting holes for the valve cover. It serves as a stable support point for operating the compression lever.

Adjustable Design

The tool length can be adjusted to five different positions. This allows several cylinders to be reached without removing and repositioning the complete tool.

The open-sided valve adapters provide direct access to the valve keepers during removal and installation.

Valve Adapters

The included valve adapters cover three diameters:

Valve adapter: 20 mm
Valve adapter: 26 mm
Valve adapter: 34 mm

All three adapters are open on both sides for improved access to the valve keepers.

Important Application Note

When using the tool with the cylinder head installed, the respective cylinder must be continuously supplied with compressed air to prevent the valve from dropping into the combustion chamber.

If a compression adapter with an NW 5 connection is available, Item no. 122184 can be used to convert it to an NW 7.2 compressed-air connection.
