This specialized timing tool kit is designed for setting and locking the engine timing on Land Rover 4.4D / 448DT diesel engines. It is suitable for timing chain service, engine repair, and fuel injection pump replacement, ensuring accurate synchronization of all timing components.

Important Notes
- Range Rover Sport up to 2013:
• TDC position is determined via the crankshaft pulley - Range Rover Sport from 2013:
• Timing is set using a crankshaft locking pin positioned against the crankshaft web - In both cases:
• The adjustment hole on the pulley is positioned at the 9 o’clock position
Crankshaft Locking Update (from 2014)
- Updated crankshaft locking system requires:
• Locking pin used as 303-1238 / 303-1620 (included in the set)
Camshaft Positioning Note
- Camshafts feature a square profile with one rounded side
- Correct alignment position:
• Rounded side must face downward - For rotation of the camshaft:
• Camshaft turning pin used as OEM 303-1239 (included)
