This flexible honing tool set is suitable for automotive manufacturing and repair, aerospace applications, hydraulic systems, and sanitary and heating installations.
The brushes are particularly suitable for preparing cylinder bores before installing new piston rings.
Surface Finishing
The self-centring internal brushes feature flexible silicon carbide abrasive balls and are suitable for deburring, final surface finishing and honing.
They produce an evenly finished surface with a high load-bearing contact area. Honing restructures only the surface and does not increase the cylinder diameter.
The resulting honing pattern provides the oil retention required on the cylinder wall.
Use
The honing tools can be used with handheld drills and stationary machines.
The use of suitable honing oil is recommended during operation.
