This press tool is designed for the professional installation of the front crankshaft oil seal on the timing cover side of compatible Ford engines.
The tool centres the oil seal and presses it evenly into the correct installation position using the original crankshaft bolt. This helps reduce the risk of tilting, deformation or damage during assembly.
Installation Information
The original crankshaft bolt is used to press in the front crankshaft oil seal.
Always follow the repair instructions and tightening specifications provided by the vehicle manufacturer for the respective engine.
Recommended Additional Tool
We recommend using a flywheel holding tool, as Ford 303-1643, to securely counterhold the crankshaft during installation.
