Application Procedure
The correct selector position is determined in neutral position:
- Rotate the selector lever at the transmission clockwise into park position
- Move the selector lever two positions counterclockwise into neutral position
- Remove the selector lever nut and detach the selector lever
- Remove the two screws from the selector housing
- Install the alignment tool onto the shaft and rotate the shaft until the locking pin engages into the bore of the selector housing
- Reinstall and tighten the two screws
- Remove the alignment tool and reinstall the selector lever
