Instructions for Use
- Use a glow plug socket to loosen and unscrew the glow plug to the end of its thread.
- Press the tool onto the glow plug until it noticeably engages with the hex.
- Connect a suitable 3/8" drive tool, such as a ratchet, sliding handle or preferably a torque wrench.
- Carefully turn the spindle in the loosening direction. The glow plug will be pulled out of the cylinder head.
- To remove the glow plug from the tool, pull back the knurled ring and take out the glow plug.
Important Warning
The breaking torque of CDI glow plugs is extremely low—approximately 35 Nm.
We strongly recommend using a torque wrench when working on glow plugs. This allows the applied torque to be controlled and helps prevent the glow plug from breaking.
