This professional half-shell tool kit has been specifically developed for installation and removal of 72 mm and 78 mm compact wheel bearing units used in various VAG vehicle platforms.

The optimized Stahlmaxx wheel bearing tool concept offers an efficient and expandable solution for workshops while minimizing labor time and reducing unnecessary disassembly work.

In many cases, wheel bearing replacement can be performed directly on the vehicle without complete removal of suspension or wheel carrier assemblies.

The kit is intended for storage in workshop trolleys and service carts and is supplied without a storage case.

Dual Size Wheel Bearing Coverage

This kit has been specially designed to support both wheel bearing generations used by VAG:

• 72 mm compact wheel bearing units
• 78 mm compact wheel bearing units

Special design modifications allow coverage of both versions within one tool system.

Important:

Previous 72 mm tool versions and 78 mm Ford wheel bearing tools cannot be used for VAG 78 mm wheel bearing units.

Optimized Half-Shell System

Integrated holes in the half-shell design allow secure fixation using wheel bolts.
