This high pressure pump sprocket holding tool is designed to securely fix and counterhold the drive sprocket during removal and installation of the high pressure fuel pump.
It prevents unwanted rotation of the sprocket on the pump shaft, ensuring controlled loosening and tightening of the fastening bolt without stressing or damaging surrounding engine components.

Suitable for the following engine codes:
- Renault: M9R (2.0 dCi / CDTi / EcoJet)
- Mercedes-Benz: OM699
Widely used in diesel engine service and fuel system maintenance procedures.
Technical Purpose
The tool ensures:

Important Installation Note
New high pressure fuel pumps are supplied without the drive sprocket.
