This long, angled release tool is designed for safely disconnecting electrical connectors secured by locking tabs. It is particularly useful in confined areas where the connector cannot be reached easily by hand.

Before releasing and removing this type of connector, it must be pushed briefly against the removal direction. The T-handle provides the control required for this procedure, while the offset shaft improves access around components and obstructions.

Using conventional screwdrivers or hooks can damage or break the locking tab, resulting in the replacement of the complete connector.
