This mini butane torch is suitable for shrinking heat-shrink tubing, soldering, and other precision heating applications. It is equipped with piezo ignition, an on/off switch, and adjustable flame control.

The set is ideal for repairing vehicle wiring harnesses, insulating electrical connections, and carrying out general household repairs.

Protecting and Insulating Electrical Connections

Targeted heat causes the tubing to contract around the cable or connection. This creates a protective insulating layer and helps produce clean, secure electrical repairs.

The included assortment contains coloured heat-shrink tubing in several diameters for easier identification and a wide range of applications.

Filling the Gas Tank

  1. Use only high-quality butane gas.
  2. Before filling, ensure that the on/off switch is in the Off position.
  3. Hold the device upside down and insert the butane refill nozzle vertically into the gas refill valve.
  4. Press the refill nozzle into the valve until the tank is full. Stop filling when liquid gas begins to escape from the refill valve.
  5. After filling, wait several minutes for the gas to stabilise before igniting the device.

Igniting the Torch

  1. Hold the torch in an upright position during ignition.
  2. Slide the ignition switch forward and hold it for at least three seconds before releasing it.
  3. If the torch does not ignite, repeat the ignition procedure.

Adjusting the Temperature

  1. Adjust the burner flame by moving the control lever from left to right.
  2. For the best results, set the flame length to approximately 10–25 mm.
  3. Do not set the flame unnecessarily long, as this increases gas consumption and makes the flame unstable.
  4. For hands-free use, unfold the integrated stand.
  5. When the catalyst inside the burner head glows red, the device is ready for soldering-torch or hot-air operation.
