Pinion Nut Holding Tool for VW Porsche 091 094 Gearboxes as VW 2052-1 2052-2

This special tool is designed for holding the gearbox shaft and loosening or tightening the pinion nut on VW and Porsche 091 and 094 transmissions.

Function

The tool holds and rotates the gearbox shaft while allowing safe loosening and tightening of the pinion nut.

Recommended tightening torque for the pinion nut is 210 Nm. Manufacturer torque specifications must always be observed.

For accurate gearbox rebuilding procedures, measuring the installation depth using a dial gauge and dial gauge holder is recommended.

A 32 mm crowfoot wrench may additionally be required to transfer torque during gearbox shaft operation.
