This A/C diagnostic set with protective pre-filter is designed for quick visual inspection of refrigerant and oil condition in R134a and R1234yf air conditioning systems. Through the sight glass, it is possible to identify contamination or unwanted substances in the refrigerant circuit, such as foreign particles, metal shavings, UV leak detection additives and A/C sealants.

Contamination, debris and sealant residues can cause immediate damage to an A/C service station. For this reason, the sight glass with pre-filter can be used as a protective diagnostic tool before connecting service equipment, helping to reduce the risk of damage to the A/C machine.

In the event of compressor damage, the condition of the refrigerant circuit can be assessed immediately and directly in front of the customer, making it easier to determine the likely repair scope. It is also useful for checking the refrigerant after flushing the system to confirm whether contamination is still present. This may help prevent warranty rejection by compressor manufacturers if contamination remains in the system.

All components of the set can be reordered individually as replacement parts when required.
