This adapter is designed for pressure testing (leak detection) of the charge air system in turbocharged engines. It enables fast and accurate identification of leaks in boost hoses, intercoolers, and intake systems.

By connecting the adapter to a tire inflator or compressed air source, the system can be pressurized, allowing easy detection of pressure loss and leaks without dismantling components.
