This universal reamer set is designed for the correct removal of carbon deposits and contamination from glow plug bores in the cylinder head.
Professional glow plug replacement should include cleaning the bore, shaft, sealing seat and glow-tip opening. This helps prevent leaks, malfunctions and difficulties during subsequent glow plug removal.
Controlled Removal of Deposits
Before use, apply grease to the specially machined grooves of the reamer. The grease binds loosened carbon deposits and assists with their controlled removal from the bore.
The shaped tip closes the glow-pin opening during cleaning and helps prevent loosened deposits from entering it.

The threaded guide adapters are screwed into the glow plug thread to centre and guide the appropriate reamer accurately inside the cylinder head.
