This set is designed for efficient lapping of engine valves. The tool fits into the chuck of a standard electric or cordless drill and transfers the movement to the valve through one of the included rubber suction cups.

The supplied valve grinding paste provides the abrasive compound required to restore uniform contact between the valve and valve seat.

Alternating Lapping Movement

The tool converts the drill’s continuous rotary movement into an oscillating left-right motion. This reproduces the alternating movement used during manual valve lapping and supports consistent surface processing.

Rubber Suction Cups

Two rubber suction cups are included to connect the lapping tool to different valve-head diameters:

22 mm

The valve surface must be smooth and clean to ensure secure suction.

Teroson 2-in-1 Grinding Paste

The dual container includes:

Coarse paste for preliminary grinding
Fine paste for final lapping and surface finishing

The paste is based on water-soluble synthetic oil and fused aluminium oxide abrasive. Its thick consistency provides good adhesion to the working surfaces and allows easy rinsing after use.
