Vibration Damper Removal Adapter for VAG, as T40384

This adapter is designed for the removal of the crankshaft vibration damper on selected VAG engines. It ensures safe and controlled disassembly during engine service operations.

Function & Compatibility

With this adapter, the base tool Art. No. 118863 (crankshaft counter holder for 3.0L EVOII, as T40298) can be extended for use with EA897 Generation I engines.

Additional Required Adapters

Depending on engine generation, additional adapters may be required:

• Art. No. 120730 → as T40341 (for EA879 Generation I)
• Art. No. 121988 → as T40359 (for EA898 Generation I)
