Balance Shaft Alignment Tool for PSA 1.0 & 1.2L Euro 5 Engines – as 0109-4BZ / EN-52128

Specialized tool designed for setting and aligning the balance shaft on 1.0L and 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engines from Opel, Peugeot and Citroen.

During repairs to the balance shaft, gear drive servicing or complete engine overhauls, the base alignment of the balance shaft must be correctly restored. This tool enables precise positioning during assembly and maintenance procedures.

For balance shaft bearing overhaul procedures, additional special tools are required to ensure precise installation and correct bearing seating.

Ensure the correct balance shaft alignment tool is used according to the specific repair manual.

Differences apply between Euro 5 and Euro 6 engine versions:

• Euro 5 engines feature a centered balance shaft counterweight aligned straight with the mounting hole
• Euro 6 engines feature counterweights positioned on both sides above the mounting hole with an angled design

This tool is intended for Euro 5 engine versions.
