- Select the appropriate centering mandrel.
- Insert the centering mandrel into the clutch hub.
- Slightly expand the centering mandrel by turning the knurled screw clockwise. The centering mandrel must fit into the clutch hub without play while still being able to move slightly in the axial direction.
- Install the clutch disc together with the clutch pressure plate.
- Tighten the mounting bolts of the clutch pressure plate only lightly. The clutch disc must still be able to move radially.
- Push the centering mandrel further toward the engine.
- This presses the cone (at the front of the centering mandrel) into the crankshaft bore, centering the clutch disc. At the same time, turn the knurled screw clockwise to secure the centering mandrel in the clutch hub.
- Press the centering mandrel together with the clutch disc toward the engine and tighten the mounting bolts of the clutch pressure plate evenly in sequence. Finally, tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
- Release the centering mandrel by turning the knurled screw counterclockwise and remove it.
