Important Installation Information

When installing a new self-adjusting SAC pressure plate, the pressure plate is locked in preload position with a retaining ring. In this condition, universal clutch centering tools cannot be used.

When reinstalling an already used clutch assembly, additional special tools are required to correctly reset and preload the SAC mechanism.

Incorrect installation or mixing transmission mounting bolts may result in severe gearbox housing damage.

Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's torque specifications.
