SAC Clutch Preloading Tool for BMW – as OEM 212170

This professional SAC clutch preloading tool is designed for tension-free installation and removal of self-adjusting clutch (SAC) systems on BMW vehicles.

Application

1. Position the preloading tool onto the clutch assembly.
2. Tighten the spindle adapter clockwise by hand.
3. Rotate the spindle clockwise until the diaphragm spring is fully preloaded against the stop.
4. Slightly loosen the knurled screws on the reset tool.
5. Compress the handles of the reset tool fully and hold them in position.
6. Retighten the knurled screws.
7. The SAC clutch adjustment ring is now fixed in position.
