Flexible ATF Transmission Oil Adapter for Audi S-Tronic 7-Speed DSG from 2018, as VAG 6617/15

Specialized flexible adapter designed for filling automatic transmission fluid (ATF) into Audi 7-speed DSG and dual clutch transmissions.

Due to design changes on newer transmission generations, older rigid filling adapters can no longer be installed easily because the subframe prevents straight alignment during installation.

The flexible STAHLMAXX adapter features a significantly larger internal hose diameter compared to the original OE adapter, allowing faster and easier transmission filling while reducing effort during servicing procedures.

Suitable for professional workshop maintenance and oil service operations on Audi DSG and S-Tronic transmissions.

Technical Service Information

These 7-speed Tiptronic DSG transmissions use two separate oil circuits for ATF and MTF oil.

The specific DSG ATF oil is located in the front section of the transmission together with the two identical plastic plugs used for draining and filling.

• Draining is performed via the side plug
• Filling is performed vertically from below

For filling procedures, use socket item no. 106625, to be used as T10549.

When replacing MTF transmission oil additionally:

• Draining is performed by removing the oil pump
• The bolt next to the oil pump secures the gear set and must not be loosened
• Filling is performed through the side T60 profile plug using an adapter such as item no. 115766
• Suitable socket: item no. 116246, to be used as T40087

Filling must be carried out slowly with approximately 15-second waiting intervals.

Correct oil level is reached at approximately 2 mm below the lower edge.

The transmission contains multiple chambers and may become damaged during operation if insufficiently filled.

Important Information

The internal pressure accumulator must be deactivated before draining the oil.

These transmissions contain two separate oil chambers. Incorrect identification of the drain plugs may cause oil mixing and transmission damage.

Warning

Risk of transmission damage caused by mixing ATF and MTF oil through the shared ventilation system.

For 0CK, 0CL, 0DN, and ODP transmissions, the base filling quantity of 3.5 liters ATF / DSG oil must not be exceeded.

Oil level checks are only permitted with a maximum overfill of 0.5 liters.
