Mechatronic Guide Pins for VAG DSG 0AM / 0CW Gearboxes, as T10406

Special guide pins designed for guiding and positioning the mechatronic unit during installation on VAG DSG transmissions. The tool helps ensure accurate alignment of the mechatronic assembly during gearbox service and repair procedures.

Used as T10406.

Application Notes

• Mechatronic retaining bolts must always be replaced after removal
• Tightening torque for mechatronic bolts: 10 Nm
• Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's removal and installation instructions
• A compatible diagnostic tester is required to place the mechatronic unit into neutral position
• Drain gearbox oil before removal of the mechatronic unit
• Remaining oil should also be extracted after removal
• The mechatronic vent must be sealed oil-tight before installation work
• Hydraulic oil level cannot be checked after oil loss
• New mechatronic units are factory-filled with oil and must not be drained or overfilled
• The clutch system is self-adjusting and sensitive to impacts during servicing
• Before installation, verify that all 4 gear actuators protrude by 25 mm
• Ensure all 4 selector forks are manually placed in neutral position before installation
