Universal Timing Chain Riveting and Breaking Tool Set for Simplex and Duplex Chains

This special tool set is designed for breaking and riveting almost all common timing-chain designs with 3 mm and 4 mm pin diameters, including:

• Simplex timing chains in petrol engines
• Duplex timing chains in petrol engines
• Simplex timing chains in diesel engines
• Duplex timing chains in diesel engines

Many timing-chain riveting tools are primarily designed for roller or bush chains. Kits described as universal often support only 4 mm duplex chains and, in some cases, simplex chains. They generally do not cover the full range of 3 mm simplex and duplex timing chains.

This Stahlmaxx tool set allows timing chains from numerous manufacturers to be separated, pulled through the engine and securely riveted again.

Special press dies accommodate a wide variety of chain shapes and designs. All press dies, spindles and pressure pins are manufactured from extremely hard material for durable, stable pressing and riveting. Magnets integrated into the relevant dies securely retain connecting plates and master links during assembly.
