Universal Clutch Alignment Tool

This universal clutch alignment tool is designed for accurate centering of the clutch disc during clutch installation procedures on vehicles without a pilot bearing or guide bearing.

The tool is suitable for clutch disc hub diameters from 15.0 mm to 28.0 mm and features a continuously adjustable expansion system for precise positioning inside the clutch hub. Proper alignment helps simplify gearbox installation and reduces the risk of clutch misalignment during assembly.

Application Instructions

1. Screw the clamping nut (3) onto the thread of the main body (2).
2. Install the appropriate expansion sleeve (4) onto the main body (2). The expansion sleeve should fit as closely as possible inside the clutch disc hub.
3. Place the clutch disc onto the clutch pressure plate and insert the alignment tool from the front through the pressure plate (A) until the expansion sleeve is fully seated inside the clutch disc hub.
4. Expand the sleeve (4) using the expansion bolt (5) by turning the expansion nut (1) until the sleeve is securely locked inside the clutch disc hub.
5. Align the clutch disc (B) against the friction surface of the pressure plate (A) and secure the clutch disc by tightening the clamping nut (3) against the diaphragm spring.
6. Install the clutch pressure plate (A) together with the clutch disc (B) onto the flywheel.
7. Loosen the clamping nut (3) counterclockwise and remove the alignment tool.
