Crankshaft Oil Seal Installation Tool for VW, as T50010

This special tool is designed for the professional installation of the crankshaft oil seal on selected Volkswagen models.

It is also suitable for installing the sealing flange with an integrated encoder wheel on the specified engines.

Compatible Elring Crankshaft Oil Seals

For use with the following Elring crankshaft oil seals:

• Elring item no. ELR-741.700
• Elring item no. ELR-377.470
• Elring item no. ELR-340.280

Suitable Vehicles and Engines

• VW T6, Golf, Tiguan and other models with 2.0 BiTurbo engines and an 8-hole flywheel mounting on the crankshaft
• VW Crafter from model year 2006 with 2.0 BiTurbo, 2.5 TDI or BlueTDI engines

Suitable for installing the sealing flange with an integrated encoder wheel.

Conditional Compatibility

For the following engine codes, the tool is suitable only when the sealing flange is equipped with a blue inner support ring:
