Usage Instructions

Attach the crankshaft flange holding tool (1) to the crankshaft flange and use it to loosen or tighten the flange bolt.

Assemble the two components (2 + 3) of the camshaft sensor wheel alignment tool, then align the camshaft reluctor wheel (sensor wheel) according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Position the timing chain cover centering tool (4) with its flat surface against the oil pump housing. Carefully tighten the flange bolt (A) until the centering tool sits flush with the oil pump housing (see arrow), ensuring proper alignment.

Press the timing chain against the timing chain tensioner, then insert the tensioner locking pin (5) to hold the tensioner in the compressed position (B).

Insert the crankshaft locking pin (6) into the designated bore in the transmission housing. Carefully rotate the crankshaft using the flange bolt (A) until the locking pin engages with the flywheel.

Remove the plug located on the exhaust side of the camshaft housing, and clean the threads of both the plug and the housing.

Install the camshaft locking tool (7). Apply slight pressure to the tool by hand, then carefully rotate the crankshaft via the flange bolt (A) in the normal direction of engine rotation until the locking tool engages with the exhaust camshaft.
