Locks the position of the timing belt pulleys during timing belt replacement, and is also suitable for locking between the camshaft pulley and diesel injection pump pulley on certain diesel engines.
The tool is mounted onto the teeth of the camshaft pulleys and locks pulleys positioned parallel or offset to each other.
Ratchet locking handles (Z) allow easy tightening in the correct position.
The special design enables use on flanged pulleys.
Long connecting arm (2) for locking pulleys that are positioned far apart.
Suitable for pulleys with a width of 20 to 35 mm.
The tool locks the camshaft pulley during timing belt installation.
Particularly useful when aligning camshaft pulleys that are spaced far apart.
The locking tool is loosely placed onto the camshaft pulley as a fully assembled unit, aligned, and then secured.
Position the main component (A) on the rear side of the timing belt pulley and into its teeth.
Install the front clamping plate of the tool (C) onto the front face of the timing belt pulley.
The complete tool is then secured onto the timing belt pulley by tightening the hand wheel (D).
The tool is then locked using either the short or long hand wheel locking screw (5/6).
