Function
The tool is positioned between the camshaft adjusters, where alignment marks on the tool must match those on the camshaft sprockets.
The camshaft sprockets are oval-shaped and feature vertical alignment marks relative to the camshaft housing. Correct positioning is achieved by aligning these marks precisely between the reference ribs.
Technical Notes
According to manufacturer repair procedures, an electronic adjustment tool is required for fine calibration of camshaft timing.

✔ Crankshaft pulley central bolt: 150 Nm + 180°
✔ Intake camshaft control valve: 105 Nm
✔ Exhaust camshaft sprocket: 18 Nm → 50 Nm → 135°
✔ Exhaust camshaft sealing plug: 20 Nm
✔ Coolant pump camshaft sprocket: 20 Nm + 90°
✔ Oil seal cover: 8 Nm
✔ Camshaft position actuator: 8 Nm
✔ Cover plate: 35 Nm
✔ Water pump: 12 Nm
