Centring Mandrel for Camshaft Adjustment Oil Seal, VAG EA211 EVO 1.0L and 1.5L, as T10576

This special tool is required for the correct installation and centring of the camshaft adjustment bracket on the camshaft sprocket.

It is also used when installing the radial oil seal with press piece item no. 122983, to be used as VAG T10582.

The centring mandrel correctly aligns the bracket during reassembly.

Important Replacement Information

Replacement of the radial oil seal for Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 N727 on the intake side is recommended whenever the bracket is removed.

A leaking oil seal can damage the timing belt and may subsequently cause engine damage.

Important Note

Use this centring mandrel, as VAG T10576, together with press piece item no. 122983, as VAG T10582.

The press piece required for installing the oil seal is not included and must be obtained separately.
