Press Piece for Camshaft Adjustment Oil Seal, VAG and Ford EA211 EVO 1.0L and 1.5L, as T10582

This special installation tool is designed for 3- and 4-cylinder EA211 EVO engines with 1.0L and 1.5L displacement installed in VAG and Ford vehicles.

The press piece installs the camshaft adjustment radial oil seal in its correct fitting position.

Oil Seal Replacement

Replacement of the radial oil seal for Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 N727 on the intake side is recommended whenever the bracket is removed.

A leaking oil seal can damage the timing belt and may subsequently cause engine damage.

Required Additional Tool

Use this press piece, as VAG T10582, together with centring mandrel item no. 122984, as VAG T10576.

The centring mandrel also aligns the bracket correctly during reassembly.

DFNA, DFNB, DSGB, DSGD

1.0L TSI 4V and 30 TFSI engines from model year 2020:

DLAA, DLAB

1.5L 4V TFSI EA211 EVO engines:

DACA, DACB, DADA, DFYA, DHFA, DPBA, DPBC, DPBE, DPCA, DXDB
