This special puller is designed for the removal of wheel bearing inner races that remain on the wheel hub after bearing disassembly. In addition, it is suitable for removing crankshaft timing sprockets on various TSI, TFSI and BMW engines during timing chain service.
The tool can also be used for pulling bearings from gearbox shafts and differentials with diameters up to 90 mm, making it a versatile solution for drivetrain and engine repair work.
The latest A-version features a standard M18 × 1.5 spindle thread, allowing the puller to be used together with a slide hammer for faster and more efficient extraction.

Additional Information
When replacing wheel bearings, the bearing inner race often remains on the wheel hub after disassembly. This puller allows safe and efficient removal without damaging surrounding components.
During timing chain replacement, it is often recommended to replace the crankshaft or oil pump sprocket at the same time. Since the sprocket is press-fitted, it can be removed using this puller and reinstalled after heating to a maximum of 150°C.
